Kevin Fullerton is the founder of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a unique online salvage yard. Rather than relying on Craigslist or model specific forums, you can search for a particular car on PartingOut.com, then search for the specific parts you need. This is great for older or unusual models that may not exist in your local salvage yard. You don’t even have to get your hands dirty. This could be an advantage or disadvantage, depending on your point of view.
Ike and Kevin discuss how PartingOut.com came to, how Kevin first got into the salvage business 35 years ago and the wide variety of cars available there. They also discuss the coolest car on the site, and Kevin’s personal cars.

I already looked for 4Runner stuff. All the things I wanted off of them were dented.

Make a “parts wanted" list?

That’s so cool, but it’s another example of why I have a love/hate relationship with my car becoming more popular. I love that there are a bunch of reproduction parts out there that are easily found. I hate that those parts can be so expensive and since the cars have value even as wrecks they no longer show up in yards so cheap used parts are hard to find.

It's getting junked, I can't title it so it's getting scrapped do you need a part?

No, I just liked the experiment, and was following it with interest. It’s too bad it can’t get titled.
